Hi. I recently acquired a MR175. I am trying to learn something abut this bike. At first I thought i would part it out but now it is kind of growing on me and I would like to restore it. I have checked fro compression and spark, cleaned the carb, and put in new plugs. I need to know, will the standard 32:1 ratio work? I have never had a bike this old. I am not sure of the year but I know they only made the 175 for 3 years. Also, was this bike oil injected or can I just pre-mix? I would rather pre-mix if I can. Now for the specific questions. How can I get the ft/lb ratings for the head? What size chain does this bike take? Most of all, Where is a good source for parts? I need a clutch cable, clutch perch and a chain. I know this is a lot of questions for a first post, but this is the best Elie site I have found. Thanks, Scott |
