Points are not opening on my 73 MT250. Any suggestions? |

Pull the points out and check to see it the little plastic tab that floats on top of the flywheel shaft is broken or worn off. This tab is lifted up by the flywheel shaft's cam and opens up the points. It could also be a problem with the points spring getting jammed. I've seen this on the cheap points you find on e-bay. later, nola_fiddy |
