i have a 79 cr125 and want to know if anyone has tried this? i got measurments from an 81 cr125 swingarm it looks like it will nearly bolt right up to the frame. its offset to the right side for the chain. i could weld some shock mounts on for the shocks. the rear wheel distance is about 1/2 in. narrower, this could be adjusted with the wheel spacers on each side. hope you don't think this is crazy. if something works good then its time to screw with it ! :)

There was an 81 or 82 aluminum swingarm on ebay that had been modified with shock mounts for an 80 Cr250, so it has been done. The stock 1980 swingarm was an inch longer than the 78 and 79, not sure if the 125's were the same way then also. If you have the same measurements you may be able to make it work, even if you have to make some custom spacers.
