 Post subject: 79 cr 125 engine case

i need some info. are 1980 cr125 engine cases the same as a 1979 case thanks much. jd

No they are different,the 1980 runs larger main bearings other than that are identical.
Unfortunatly you cannot use the 1980 cases with the larger mains with the 79 crank.
If you can get a pair of 1980 cases plus a 1980 crank then you would be fine with using everything else from the 79 motor.
