I have a 1975 MT125 and my front forks need some help they are way too soft and the rebound is really poor. Are there any places that sell better springs or that can make these forks work well? I have called Vintage Iron and they were no help they just told me "we don't do enduro bikes" and thats it, and Progressive said that they have nothing for the front, and Works told me they dont do dirtbikes at all so I dunno where to turn. Do the CR forks fit because just about everyone has something for them?

I am not experienced with bikes that age, but would suggest IF you know the length and spring rate required call Race Tech (http://www.racetech.com) or Eibach Springs (http://www.eibach.com). They may be able to set you up...

You may want to try Bob Grinder at B&J. They specialize in Vintage Trials but custom made some Rear Falcon Shocks for my 74 MT-250. I just supplied the critical measurements from my originals. What a difference. The rear shocks are notoriously bad on the MT's. They should list the spring size in a shop manual. I rebuild my Front end but it's still a little soft. Some day I'll change the springs

AMS Racing has several different sizes and lengths of front fork springs. http://www.amsracing.com
