I am trying to take apart my mt250 tranny as third gear went bad. I can not get second gear off the counter shaft all the other gears have been removed but I cant figure out how to take second off. I wanted to replace all the gears with a mr set but have to use the mt countershaft as it has a bigger bearing than the mr. I just need to get the second gear off the countershaft and have no idea how. |

I figured it out its a press fit. I put it in a wood block and hit with a dead blow and it dropped out of the gear. |
