Post subject:  CR125M Pipe

Hi,
I picked up a 1974 CR125M some time ago and this pipe (see photo) was on it. Does anyone know what make this pipe is? sort of looks like an FMF but I don't know.
Thanks for the help.

It's possible this is an early Jemco pipe, as the welding and cones look very similar to both my Jemcos. I don't know if Jemcos ever had snap-ring silencer retainers like this pipe has, though.

I don't believe it's a DG or LOP pipe, as both of these had a small rounded 'step-down' piece where the center section meets the rear cone - I think the FMF pipe may have had it too.

Is the spring retainer a loop of small-diameter rod, or a hook bracket?

Ray

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the reply. The spring retainer is a bracket about 5/8" thick.
