The air cooled cr480's are really nice bikes, one of my favorite big bores. Does the bike run well? Show us some pics!

High guys, I am new here and just bought an 82 CR480. I'm on a quest to restore it and I need some info someone here may have. I'm wanting to know if the tanks and seats from 82, 83 or even 84 are interchangeable? Thanks |

Not sure on the seat but the tank is different. |

It runs really well but I'm gonna go through it good before I take it out. It needs plastic and a seat. I bought an '83 seat base with foam and a chain slider from a guy in Fla. The 83 seat will not work without the 83 tank, so I have a seat base and foam for anyone with an 83. I found a missing weldment that supports the rear fender. Also, for some reason someone added a mount for the shock resevoir and it's broken. I'm gonna get some rubber bumpers and make it stock. I'm making a list of parts needed now. One of them is the rubber strap at the back of the fuel tank.
