any information about pre production cr250m's 1973 ?. i have a cr250m and the frame number is lower than the honda identification guide book and there as never been any numbers stamped on the engine case any help would be appreciated |

Sounds like you have the updated cases. I have a 73 with the famous numberless cases too. The frame having numbers on a CRM lower than 1000216 sounds a lil fishy and interesting at the same time. Got any pics? |

Almost every time I've seen a case without numbers, it was a replacement case ordered through a Honda parts dealer. Don't know anything about the frame, unless you have a pre-production bike. I didn't think any of those had any numbers at all, though. |
