Does anyone know if you can rebuild 1980 cr125 shocks? I have them apart, and all i have seen on Honda parts web sites are the complete shock. Did they ever offer seals and such? Does anyone make aftermarket seals? We have been running them on my sons 79 cr125 race bike and they have worked pretty well. I am not in the position to plunk down major $$$ for Works or Ohlins at this time. Any help would be appreciated.

i bought some seals from a guy in southern ca., this has been a couple of years ago. he said he was moving, so i thought i would buy another set. but i could never get i touch with him agin. he said he had lots of seals. i have never got around to puting the shocks back together to see how they worked, i will soon though. to many projects :) this isn't much help but maybe someone on here remembers this guy. he said he had a lot of old honda stuff.

There was a shop in socal i think was called Vintage Elsinores that i got some parts from a couple of years ago, and he just disappeared. Bought a bunch of stuff for a bike i was working on and got the bulk of the order, but the engine gasket set was on back order. Never got it although i was charged for it and his web site went away.
