I have a chance to get a set of D.I.D. rims for a good price. Anyone know this stamping on the side of the rim means 86-- 08 10-- ?
thanks,
steve

i don't know but there should be the size on their like my front wheel on my xl200 its a 1.40x21, 1.40 in.wide x 21 in.dia. the other numbers got to be a date code of some kind, make sure the spoke count is right.

Yep, sizes are there and they are 36 spoke rims. I was just wondering what the code meant so I could verify fitment.

The "86" is DID speak for a 2.15 X 18. The other numbers are production codes.
A "96" is a 1.6 X 21. The other side of the rim should be stamped with the
size as badsix said.
