Can any early CR125 Elsinore owners identify this aftermarket swingarm? Came from a 1975 CR125M. It's made of steel, not aluminum, and was coated with some type of gold anodizing, not paint. Welds and fabrication appear top notch. No names, clues, or serial numbers to be found anywhere. Who made it? Is it desireable to Elsinore owners? ![]() |

I had a Profab frame and swingarm for a 74 YZ250 back in the day and that arm looks very much like the one on my Profab bike. Pete Wilkins the owner of Profab and since passed away so I am not sure how you would confirm it and his son doesn't do MC stuff anymore...Pete preferred steel for his swingarms with the tubular cross brace and the tapered to the rear tubing and the tig welds that are sweet and perfect just like the ones you have on that arm. I would bet the farm Profab made that arm. |

But, did ProFab also make DG's early tubular arms? The materials and construction on this arm sure look similar to the DG arm on my 250. |

Yes they did. The DG laydown kit that had a swingarm and bracket that welded in and a bar that went forward was all made by Profab. That kit was made for the '74 and '75 Honda CR125. |
