Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Hi, I just got this bike I traded it for a 1981 MX100 Yamaha and this bike the guy tried to make it into more of a dirt bike than trail bike. He took all the lights off of it and the horn and left me with all the wires and stuff. The problem is that its getting voltage to the spark plug but will not spark, i dont know if it needs a battery or what, I would appreciate it if someone would have the wiring diagram to everything so I could make the wiring on the bike simple and not worry about having to put all the lights and stuff back on it ( I wasnt going to anyway). If any sugestions or you have the wiring diagram I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Clay
