Hello. Can anyone tell me if the hubs and brake assembly on a 1974 MR 50 are polised or painted. And if painted do you know what the correct color should be. Im doing a complete restoration and want it to be period correct. And can anyone tell where I can get a set of Tank Decals. Thanks Mike

We use a couple of different paints but the most commonly found (in the US) is the color dull aluminum. In the high heat paint, which you can use on any part of course, is a paint called cast coat aluminum.

Try a couple of different rattle cans, they're cheap, and you'll find one that works. Stay away from silvers and high metallic looking colors.
