If you can find it in your area, look for American Traditions / Valspar Fire Engine Red from Lowes Hardware. It is a spray paint specifically made for plastics. It is a very close, almost identical to the late '70's and early 80's CR Honda's Tahaitian Red. I have used it on my '79 CR250 and '78 XR75, and it works & looks great. I don't believe it will work on the plastic fuel tank. The fumes from the fuel will make the paint eventually bubble up and flake/peel off.
