Could you please tell me if there are any obvios differences between the 74 and 75 elsinore 125 as i have been sold what i think is a 74 but the frame number doesnt correspond it starts with 200 not 100 but the bikes in silver and green and from what i can see from photos it all looks the same as a 74 thanks for any help |

I am not an expert on this bike, but if you check http://100megsfree4.com/honda/h0100/cr125.htm it suggests at least the frame is a 1975. |

There are several differences. Most noteworthy is the red stripe on the 75 gas tank vs. the green stripe on the 74. Marty Smith replica, just add rider skill. ![]() The 75 had an integrated silencer on the pipe vs. the bolt-on pickle of the 73. Digging a little deeper, the 75 cylinder had a boost port above the intake port (like the optional GP cylinder that was offered for the 74). Thats about the extent of the changes that I can recall. |

The 1973-74 CR 125 will start out with a number 1 on the frame & the motor. The 1975 CR125 will start out with a number 2 on the frame & motor along with the various changes mentioned above. |
