Post subject:  Vintage Insurance Options?

Does anyone have any suggestions for insuring my vintage CR fleet? My homeowners does not cover dirt bikes, and a friend recommended Hagerty who said they could do it and sent a quote, so I spent 4 hours taking pictures, getting all the VIN's, filing out the paperwork and getting values, sent it in, only to have the underwriter get back to me saying " It does not match the types of vehicles they wanted to insure", they had to have a minimum value of 3500.00 each, when I made it perfectly clear that they were dirtbikes valued at 1000.00 plus and the year and makes up front.
Needless to say I was VERY disappointed in Hagerty wasting my time!
Thanks for any suggestions.

My MR and CR are insured with Geico. I believe the premium is $57 per year for up to three bikes, but it may be $57 per bike per year. This is just basic coverage required for registration.

For what it's worth, I just completed a collision claim with Geico after my van got rear-ended, and the whole claim/repair process was quite painless.
