Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

i bought a honda mt125 not running and now that it is when i took it for a ride a problem with the gearbox appeared , the gear lever seems to stay up and won't go into 3rd gear etc. W hen you stop bike and turn off engine you can get it to go through all gears rocking bike back and forth and pulling and pushing gear lever up and down so does it sound like a spring on selector shaft broken or weak or selectors? thanks in advance.
