Post subject:  75 CR 125 strong then bairly runs

Thanks for a great forum!

I am not a concours kinda guy. A cold beer some riding buddies and the chance to even look at these old bikes drives me.

I have been able to gather some decent examples of 70's bikes and I am running into diagnosis problems a several. I am trying to read your prior posts so I don't bore you and will not drag out all the issues on the bikes a once.

75 Cr 125, I have rebuilt the carb trying to solve this issue and now have a bike that starts even better than before. But the problem remains that after about 5 minutes of riding it starts bogging really bad and smokes a bit more than before.
Crank seal right? Cluth side right?
I have the gasket set and new seals and am ready to tear it down. But before completely disabling the bike, I want to try the transmission fluid idea that I mentioned on my initial post a few days a go.

Will it hurt anything to try it?

I'd just like to make sure I am not goingto trash it trying to get a couple rides before I start the tear down.

Sorry to go on, but hell if you guys won't listen nobody will!

Thanks Roger in SW VA
