Anyone have any luck with heli-coils & stripped bolt holes in a CR cylinder? One of my intake manifold mounting bolts has a stripped hole. To make matters worse one of the 6mm head bolts snapped prior to reaching full torque spec. Now I'm thinking I need to take everything apart again to have that stud replaced & the hole heli-coiled (maybe all the holes should be heli-coiled as a future precaution?) Thoughts anyone? I hate to take it all apart again & I'm tempted to try riding it as is, but I'm worried about potential leaks. Thanks ~JM~ |
