I have a 1980 cr125 that I put 1982 cr480 forks on. Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of how high the forks should be above the top triple clamp? -- top of fork cap to top of triple clamp in mm --I know this is a suit to taste adjustment but I dont know where to start because the new forks are much taller than the old. Thanks for your help. |

messure both forks from axle middle to the top, the difference is what you start with. |

Thanks b-joe, thats what i did. i wont get to ride it till next week. I was just hoping someone who has this set up could measure their bike and let me know. Anyone out there with this set-up that can chime in? Thanks, Tom |
