I just picked up my MT250 Saturday evening and have a question about the vin. It says 11/74 on the tag but starts with a 2 on the number and I read that the ones starting w/a 2 are a 75'? Any ideas?  It's got the black side cover and black heat shield on exaust. Also,are the two years compatible w/ parts? Thanks!

It is a 1975. It was just built in late 1974.
