Just got my new old rear fender for my MT 250 but it has a hole drilled in it to mount a light.
The hole is only 2.5 to 3 mil.
Wondering what would be the best way to fill the hole, before I paint it?

Thanks in advance

I would think the best way would be to weld it up with a plastic welder or find someone that knows how.

You can use a plastic patch epoxy that comes in a bar that you break off and knead together to mix the two formulas. You can buy it at any auto parts store. It will fill the hole and you will have to sand it down after because the patch isn't that smooth. You could also use jb weld or some other similar epoxy. They are easier to sand but more fluid and a little harder to fill larger holes without running. With that small of a hole, you could use either one effectively. That said, I would probably use the bar form of epoxy for this type of patch. Don't over due it with the epoxy, use just enough to fill in the hole because it's difficult to sand down. If you want it to look perfect, the jb weld is probably better because it is easier to get totally smooth with sanding.

Don't sand it too far down because you want a little of the epoxy to overlap the hole so it has more to stick too.

good luck
