Are there many differences between the 1979 and 1980 CR125 Lower ends? I know the bearings are better in the 1980, but what about the tranny, rotor/stator, clutch, etc. ? J |

Also, how can you visually identify the different cases? Does anyone have the Codes or Numbers for the 79 and 80 CR125 engines? Thanks! J |

J, The easiest way would be just to look at the SN# on them, 200XXXX for the '79 and 210XXXX for the '80. Robert |
