Hey anybody know the shock length for the 1980 CR125? Is it similar to 79 Maico rear shocks (14.75) ? Thanks! J |

Hey J, The stock '80 CR125R shocks are 15.75" long, the bike gets a little tall if you use shocks longer then 16.25" long. Also the lower front chain roller will need to moved down with most aftermarket swingarms and use of 15.75" (or longer) shocks, so you might want to have that done "before" you powder coat or paint; I move mine down 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. By the way...I've (well, my girlfriend has) updated Mugencross.com; getting there slowly but surely. Take care, Robert Hawes Jr. |
