I have two questions
- how much fork oil do i need for a 1979 cr250 for each fork?

- what size for seal driver do i need for the same bike.?

RedRocket190 answered the first one some time back.

"If you just pump the old oil out of the forks; 205 cc. If you are completely re-building them; 275 cc. Weight is SAE 5-weight."

I'm not sure about the seal driver.

If I remember correctly the fork tubes are 39mm in diameter so get a seal driver of that diameter. But really you can just warm the fork leg with a blowtorch and then tap the seal in with a large socket of the right size. Beware the dust seal that fits above the actual oil seal is a discontinued part so if you change the seals make sure you get that part out un-damaged.
