what is the axial tolerance for the 1975 MT250 piston rod? I've got a little play in the rod but not sure of the tolerance and don't want to tear the whole thing down if not necessary! |

Parts are nla so before you tear into it try looking for them first. I rebuilt my mt250 crank with parts from badbrush.com but dont know that they are around anymore. |

.02-.04mm is normal and .06mm is the service limit. |

That's a 1/16th! Is that at the top of the rod? |

I checked it and it's less than 1/16 of an inch. Like .048 thousandths. Should that be o.k.? |
