This bike came to my attention by word of mouth. One phone call later, an agreed price, the bike is now in my garage. Having no real need for a mini-dirt bike, my intention is to repurpose this bike for use as a mini-motard. Currently I am member of MiniMotard Nashville, a young club that races parking lot on Saturdays. I started with a pit-bike that had a Loncin 110cc, 4-speed....Sold that and started racing my '85 Honda Gyro S....At this point, the Gyro was providing such a great ride that it became the only bike that i wanted to use for minimotard....when thisMR 50 Elsinore came available, I decided that it might make a sweet motard bike. The season begins in a few weeks and I will be eager to see what it does in it's current status. Plans are to find better rear shocks, front fork springs, add some appropriate tires, and freshen the top end. This will probably be a constantly changing project. I hope to hear from some of you with suggestions and tips. Parts will be a must to keep this bike going, so all who have parts and resources are encouraged to post with comments and offers.
