I know some modern shifters are supposed to work but I can't remember which ones fit.
I could use another inch since I'm running wide pegs.
I'd also like the folding tip.

Anyone know what would work? 8)

The shifter shaft splines are the same on every 2 stroke Honda CR125 and CR250 ever made. Go to a parts store and find a CR shifter with a bend you like and a folding tip. It will fit on your bike. Most of the ones on models later than an '80 do stick out from the shaft more than the early ones. I've used several over the years on my '76 bike. But I finally went back to original bend as I never got comfortable with then tip sticking out another inch than the original.

I used a MR 175 shifter, cut the tip off and weld on IMS shifter tip. It adds some length to it too or you can cut it shorter.
