Finding it hard to get any answers to questions on here, getting alot of views, but no answers. I've got a 1973 honda mt 250. I have to have seat pad and cover, intake manifold, spokes (front and rear), fork seals and side cover gaskets. I wanna use a DG CR pipe (will it work?). Anyone know where I can find parts? I find alot of parts on ebay but dont know which year models are the same, 74? 75? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try going to www.powersportsplus.com Search your bike, then click on the item and scroll down. You can see there what other models the item fits if you use the individual part links. It's a real handy tool for cross referencing different years.

I agree oleguy, very people people ever respond on here, its usually the same people, and only when they are around. I will apologise for the rest of the assembled crowd, Sorry about that.

MT250's are pretty much the same through out the years. some parts changed like the swingarm spindle, but the stuff you want will be fine from powersportsplus.

Seatpad will be hard to find i would think, but at least you have the tray, that's the impossible part now. Cover you will probably find aftermarket, try ebay?

Intake manifold I have a spare if you get stuck, contact me.

spokes... let me know if you find stainless ones. Buchan spokes maybe? The ebay sellers all list the XLs but not the MT versions, i reckon they are the same but have not put my money where my mouth is and tried them.

CR DG pipe for the 73/74 will work, later will not.

fork and side cover (assume you mean engine), check ebay or powerportsplus.

I hope that helps...

I had an MT250 years ago and wanted a different pipe to boost performance and ended up using a Bassani torque tube. It worked pretty good but I dont know if you can get one now. There are people out there that can custom build you a pipe if you look for them.
