Howdy!

My MR250 rear wheel has had a tough life. It's been thrashed to hell.
There's a weld going across 70% of the width at one spot and 4 major flat spots. It really is something to behold.

Now, I have an xr did rim of the same size and hole count and im inclined to lace it up, but Im not sure if I need to redrill the rim? Anybody know how much wiggle room there is when it comes to spoke angle?

Thanks in advance!

Cameron.

I have done this but not on a Honda. I laced an aluminum rim from a bike with disk brake onto a hub of a bike with a drum brake. The spoke angle on the rim was wrong so I re-drilled the rim holes at a different angle by eyeball with my hand drill. If you don't get the angle right, the spokes will bend at the nipples when you tighten them which is not good.

Thanks for your reply!

I suppose you used a stepping drill bit?
