I have a 1976 mt125 elsinore, no spark. I replaced the coil, I replaced the spark plugs, then I saw when i went to check the points, the nut to hold on the flywheel was gone, and the key was sheared. replaced both, set gap, got blue spark once, then not again. So the last thing I did was I pulled the points plate off, held the points open, and with a multimeter tested for continuity by putting one probe on one point and one on the other, and I got a beep. That means i have a short, right? The wiring has been chopped and spliced in several places, to the point where it doesn't match up with the wiring diagram. I also want to get the totally unplugged lights and signals to work, so basically, what I want to know is, does any body have a wiring harness they can part with? Bike bandit says they have them, but they're a little pricier than I want.
