Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Hi.
I`m new to this site.
I picked up a -82 cr250 off the swedish ebay. Will rebuild it to race shape, and maybe do some vintage racing with it.
Have been looking on seatcovers for it, either I will go with a original looking cover or the dc-cover factorystyle. But i cant find any pics f a bike with the dc-cover.

I have seen that. Guess I wrote the question a little dumb.
I was really curious to see a pic on the dc cover in the link mounted.
Hard to see what it would look like, when the pic of it is flat.

IMHO, I would go stock black, then 1983 blue before the DC cover....

Yeah, might buy a black one. But I have seen some YZs and Maicos with 2-tone covers that I like.
Just that I`m little picky, so dont want to buy a 2-tone that I dont know how it would look in real.

I just put a red-black Fox seat cover on my 1979 CR250R and frankly while it is nice to keep the OEM black cover safe for later, I am not digging the modern look.

I`m into hotrods and I`m a lot more picky with periodcorrect on that. This is just a fun build, and I think I like a twotone cover

Personal preference statement, rather than a period-correct argument. Looked good in the photo, in real life not so much. No more no less.
