74 mt 250, lights were missing so I set it up without them. Can I eliminate a couple coils or would it be best to leave them. Would like to get rid of some wiring also. Any help would be appreciated!!

The ignition runs off of one coil on the stator, but whats the point of removing the others?

Pretty sure its got three coils one for the headlight one for the ignition and one for the battery and other lights. Just strip off the streat legal stuff and thats all the more you need to do really. your not gonna gain anything I know of by removing the unused coils and I dont know if its possible its been a while since I had my mt apart.

Thanks guys for the replys! I just figured if all I was using was the ignition coil the other two would be putting out power that would just have to be capped off. I would rather just remove them.
