 Post subject: More 84 CR80 stuff

OK so I got hosed on the CR80 project. Turns out there is a hole in on of the the cases that I didnt notice when I bought the bike so needless to say this thing doesnt run. Does anybody know if cases from year to year are interchangeable? Are other engine years interchangeable to the '84 CR80? Can a CR125 engine fit in that frame? Is a pigs butt pork? I need options. This is my sons first dirt bike and he's chompin at the bit to get this thing going.
