New member here. I just purchased a 1976 Honda CR250m needing total restoration. Here is what I got...

The motor turns over and has compression, but no spark. It goes in and out of gear, the brakes work, it has the original tank with only one small dent. Both wheels are pretty straight with no missing or broken spokes, the factory exhaust pipe and silencer are still there and have no dents. The rear shocks are not original. most of the parts are there.

As time and money will allow me I hope to complete this project within a year or so.

I'm in Portland, Oregon.

That's awsome, looks like mine also only mine is a 76 CR125M and the top end of motor was missing. I've been working on mine now for about 6 mos. and progress is slow. I need a rear outter fender, and an air intake manifold to bolt up the carb. I anyone knows of thses items please e-mail me at ksregor3@gmail.com
I'm gonna try to get pic's on here if it kills me, I've been trying for months now and can't seem to upload them correctly.
Anyway, nice find on the Elsie, keep us updated on the status.
