I am almost finished restoring my 85 CR125......I have next to new 84-85 cases and I am assembling a new engine.....we all know the clutch cover issue I have a line on a 86 CR125 clutch cover new need to know if the 86 cover will fit 85 I have both styles of water pump shafts 85 and 86 anyone try this swap..what else do I need to know I have done a mock assy and it seems to measure up with the crank primary and clutch hub gear.....but I havnent got the 86 cover yet to make sure Anyone try this swap...Honda says 84-86 is the same but I know the cover is deeper on the 86 which is ok on a 85 but ?????? |
