Post subject:  '74 CR125M throttle and cable?

Hi, my CR125 restoration is almost completed. But I have a problem for the throttle. I don't have the original throttle of the bike. So I bought a MotionPro and another jobber throttle but I have hard time to find a cable that work with those throttle and the original carburator.

Is there a throttle and a cable that can be installed without need to build a custom cable?

If I can't find one, I'll buy a cable an some nipples and build one but if someone know a kit that work right of the box, it will save the trouble of making a custom one.

Thanks!

I use an '81 RM125Z throttle cable, P/N 58300-40X03 or 58300-14110. This is with an early 80's Suzuki RM right-angle throttle setup so who knows if it will fit your units, but I can take measurements if it will help. The critical specs are the cable length from the upper cable adjuster to the throttle rotor cable-end cutout, and adjuster thread size and pitch.

Hi Ray, do you used this cable with a RM125 throttle?

I need a throttle and a cable that will work with the Kehin carb.
