Anyone know where I can find a throttle tube for my 1980 cr125? Anyone know what other years might use the same one?

I guess a 1979 would be the same but not sure. Would the cr250 be the same?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

The Honda part # is 531-414-30000 and it is common for several years, and between the 125 and 250 models. I am also going to suggest it is pretty much unobtainable as an OEM part - like much of the Honda plastic and rubber parts of that age. If you are not a collector after genuine NOS parts I would suggest a complete throttle assembly from someone like Motion Pro who makes a very good replica of the Gunnar Gasser side pull throttle of the time. If you are a collector I have a NOS throttle tube....

Thanks for your response. I am not a collector just a vintage racer. I was hoping to find a tube or at least a replacement throttle that the cable comes out the front so I can continue to use the hole in my number plate for the cable. the housing where the throttle cable comes out the side makes the cable have too many bends. Let me know if you want to part with your nos tube and how much.

thanks again,

Tom

I would run a side pull throttle and have it go behind the plate. At some point you are going to catch the cable and possibly wreck the throttle and the number plate. However the tube is yours for $20. PM me....

Hi There,

It's a bit of a long shot but I'm looking for a Honda CR250 1979 Throttle Tube part number 53141-430-000. You mentioned you had one is it still available and is it new old stock? If yes how much are you looking for it and postage to UK. Thanks, Alex
