I have two 76 cr250m's I also have the same problem with both of them. I need rear sprockets. Back then Honda used the dished sprocket. Is there a source for these sprockets or is there a spacer available that would let me adapt a flat sprocket? thanks Jerry |

The TL and the MR 250 used the same configuration except they were four lug. There is a spacer available for the TL that will let you use a flat sprocket. |

Gotta bring this one back up. Looking for a sprocket for my MR250. No one has them anymore. Also, the spacer for the TL trick doesn't work for the MR. The MR is 6 lug like the CR. Anyone know where to find either a sprocket or a spacer? I hate to make the spacer myself right now as it would take a lot of time and probably cost more for the stock to make it than to just buy one if it's available. |

How about taking a flat sprocket with the right bolt pattern and drilling it to bolt up to a modern sprocket, using that as a template? If there wasn't enough offset, spacers could be used between the sprockets. Obviously it would have to be done precisely and take some work, but then your rear-sprocket problems are over forever. I'm going to turn one on my lathe, like the TL when I finish the restoration. |

Yeah, I was hoping to avoid turning something on the lathe since I don't have one. I do have a friend with one, but I was kinda looking for a more instant result. I emailed Rebel Gears to see if they had something and they said sure, give us a call. So hopefully my worries are over. Also nice to use someone semi local to me. I will report back if they do have them. All their sprockets I've seen and used have been very good quality and they turn them around really quick. |

So just got off the phone with Rebel Gears. They don't have the actual sprocket, but can make a carrier spacer to use standard sprockets from another Elsinore. The carrier would be $80 and sprockets are about $50 I think was price(forget the actual number on sprocket price.) Luckily, mine is still in good shape, just dirty, but I kinda want to get a 48 to try on it. McMaster Carr has some 1" thick by 5" round stock I could possibly make one out of for about $15, but it would take some time. May do that since I have some time before I'll need a new sprocket. But in case anyone else is needing one and doesn't want to, or doesn't have the resource to make one themselves, try Rebel. They said they could have it back to me in a couple of days. |

I get mine from Sprocket Specialists. You'll need to call them. Their new website is a piece of crap. They always have the dished sprockets when I need them. |

I have a good 51T dished sprocket from a 75..it a Blackalloy by CT...Im actually parting out the bike so let me know...$25 shipped for the sprocket TM25073J@SBCGLOBAL.NET |
