Hey, All!!! Nice Forum y'all have here... I've been a "lurker" for a few months, and probably still have more questions than a person should, but hopefully, y'all may have some answers... Maybe I'll have an answer to help someone out some day..... Does anyone know what the small outside diameter of the left side (opposite the brakes) wheel spacer is? Both my wheel spacers are in fairly pathetic shape... Does anyone know if the seal that spacer slips into is still available, and possibly the stamped steel "dust cover" that goes on the brake backing plate's pivot? Thanks in advance for any help y'all may have... ![]() |

I do not know what the size is but you can get after-market replacements from Vintage Elsinores or John Astleford. The oil seal is 28mm x 42mm x 7mm (91257-230-005)and it is still available at http://cmsnl.com. The collar from the backing plate (43111-430-000) is discontinued. |

Thanks for the help, Michael!!! It's much appreciated!!! I took the spacers into work, and got some measurements on them. The only confusing thing about that left side one is that the portion of the spacer that slides inside the seal (butts up against the bearing) is sorta "mushroomed" and I'm not sure that it's supposed to be..... The diameter grows about .010-.015", and has a couple of grooves at that end of the spacer that I'm not certain belong there. I guess I'll machine it all to the diameter that the portion outside the seal is supposed to be (1.105", if I recall; I wrote it down, somewhere.... ![]() Thanks for the info & P/N on the seal, Michael.... That's very much appreciated. |

Check this out http://www.elsinores.com/item411306.ctlg To me it suggests the spacer should have no grooves and not be mushroomed.... |
