Your right b-joe, it's not a restauration, it's a restoration in progress and from where I started at with this basket case, believe me, it's almost complete. This thing started as a rusty frame, bottom half of the engine only and a gas tank, muffler and front fender. That was all I had to work with.
Yesterday, July 1st. I sprayed starting fluid down her throat and "POOF" fired right up. Found the exhaust pipe to be clogged about 8" from exhaust port so now I've got to remove that and unblock obstruction.
I'll admit it's not near complete but it's alot further along than I thought it would be 5 or 6 months ago.
Let's see your latest and greatest resto. job. I think I've done fairly well up to this point, wouldn't you agree?

It's looking great. I say keep up the good work. It 'aint' over till it's over. Lots of work left to be done.

Thanks for appreciating hard work. It's always gonna be a work in progress as long as I own it. I'm thinking of selling it soon as I'm running out of $$$.

Good job so far! Did you know your front fender is mounted backwards? Flip that sucker around!

I did turn the front fender around and now it fits properly. I was wondering why it was hitting the exhaust which wasn't there when I bought it. Good eye, thanks for the input. I'm still lookin for a front # plate, anyone got one for sale?

Notice the spark arrester is not bolted on but is there, I need the mounting brackets as it won't stay on by itself.
Also notice the cylinder head is from an MT model 125, I do have the CR head but the bolt holes were all stripped out and in need of machining new threads, the left engine cover is also a MT versipn but it fit and I used it. I did't realize when I purchased it that it wasn't the same but fit just the same also. The engine is the origional CR125M which is stamped on the casing with the 6 speed transmission.

I assume you mean the cylinder and head (they're both from an MT125)? The CR125M head only has one threaded hole, for the spark plug.

It would really be worth it to get the CR top end repaired or replaced at some point, if it's running right you'll get a bunch more power.
