i just bought a 1974 honda mr50 that hasn't ran in years, i removed the plug and touched it to the head to test the spark. i kicked it over and over again and once in a while it will get a few good sparks right in a row but most of the time no spark at all. i put a brand new coil and condenser on it because the old one had the wire spliced together and somebody had gooped up the coil with glue where the plug wire comes out. but the spark problem stayed the same. im just confused why after a bunch of kicks once in a while it gets good spark but most of the time gets no spark. |
