Post subject: | California Green Sticker Rules? |
I have a question about California's Green Stickers for off-road use. One of my bikes (88 CR250) has a green sticker on the fork tube that expired in 2002. I have not transferred/registered the bike yet. Will I be able to get a new green sticker or will they only give me a red sticker since it had expired? Thanks for any help! J |

I don't have a definitive answer but when I reregistered my bike in 2000 they gave me a green sticker. Bear in mind this scoot had been in mothballs since about 1976. DMV didn't have any record of it at all. |

Thanks Loren, I'll go down to DMV and give it a shot. I just didn't want to stand in that damn line if I didn't have a chance. ![]() Were you at Madera? I didn't stay for Sunday, but maybe I'll get a chance to meet you at one of the CA nationals next year. J |

Didn't make Madera. A friend and fellow firefighter got married the night before so I didn't even bother to pre-enter. Didn't even consider driving down in the morning as I knew I would be in nooooo condition to attempt it. Thank goodness I have a girlfriend that doesn't mind being the DD at these types of events. ![]() Maybe next year my friend. ![]() |
