Has anyone had luck replacing the stock gear shift lever on the 1980 cr250? The stock lever is too close to the case for me and I was looking for a replacement with a little more offset and will fold in case of a fall. If haven't had any luck so far.

the spline fits but you have to straighten and shorten it.
