The kickstarter is not slipping on the shaft. It won't engage internally. Any ideas what it needs? |

It's most likely either the pinion-gear detents, pawl spring, or pawl (items 20, 23, 24). http://www.westernhillshondayamaha.com/ ... E13400208A As long as the return spring's OK and the shaft returns to the start position, you shouldn't have to split the cases to examine and fix these things, just pull the clutch cover. Ray |
