| Post subject: | MR 250 backfire in intake |
I recently picked up an MR250. It was missing the wiring harness which I replaced. I installed new points and adjusted the timing to the F mark on the flywheel. The flywheel key way appeared to be in good shape. I also cleaned the carb. Compression feels good when kicking the engine but I have not put a gauge on it. Now the bike will start after a few kicks but it does not respond to the throttle and intermittently backfires through the intake. Any ideas? Thanks |
