I have a 75 mt 250 new carb ,new coil,points,condenser overhauled the motor top and bottom end it starts first or second kick runs great at idle and mid but just will not rev up to full rpms new to the site and this is my first post thanks in advance for any advice |

What does it do when you hit the throttle past half? Does the idle drop soon or does it go down slowly? Did you adjust needle height? At Idle I turn my mixing screw in til it starts to stutter and back out to its highest RPM and turn back in 1/8- 1/4 turn SET!. Rev it and see what it does. Maybe back out another 1/2 turn for the higher RPM adjustment. |
