The CR250M and MR175 frames are pretty similar under the tank, so this might help with mounting ideas (CR125M ignition in MR175 frame):
http://i399.photobucket.com/albums/pp74 ... 1754-1.jpgThe coil mount is 1/2" x 3/4" aluminum channel mounted to the front OEM coil-bracket hole and the frame crossbar, using an MR175 skid-plate mounting clamp (P/N 50358-361-000). The CDI uses the rear coil hole and a 1/4" / 6mm hole drilled thru the crossbar. The "before' setup on the left used the new coil mount for grounding which relied on additional bolts and metal-metal contact, so I wired it direct to the frame bracket along with the main wiring-harness ground (these can also be connected together). Once the coil was out of the way there was room for the CDI box, and the plug lead has a smooth arc to the plug without much bending. This setup has been working great for years.
