Post subject: | Klemm Research reeds |
Hi all, Haven't been on here in a long time.... I have a 1973 CR-250 that Klemm Research did a reed valve installation on back about 2002. Looks like Klemm Research, John Greenway, is out of business and Klemm Vintage, Harry Klemm who sold Klemm Reseach to John Greenway, does not know. I believe the reed block was a special aftermarket product that was used on the Yamaha Banshee also as an aftermarket product so the stock Banshee reeds do not fit. The Banshee reeds are held in place by two screws and these reeds are held in place by three. The Banshee's are also two "flaps" on each reed and these are one piece. Last time I bought reeds was maybe 8 or 9 years ago. I don't remember who carried them or what the part number was. Seems it was something discontinued though. (Damn!) If anybody can help me out in finding a source for these reeds I would be most appreciative. Best, Loren |

Ok, if anyone else has a similar setup and needs replacement petals the Boysen P/N is: FMF001. See you on the track. ![]() Cheers |
